Tommy was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Following a tour of duty in the US Navy, he entered the HVAC industry by attending the Pinellas Technical Institute — receiving his state license in Mechanical Contracting. He partnered with his brothers in 1975, and then ventured out on his own in 1982 to form the company he owns today — Castellano A/C Services.

Always a champion for the HVAC contractor, he is passionate about giving back to his industry — he’s proudly mentored several air conditioning companies through the years, has served on the National Executive Committee for ACCA, and worked with numerous committees such as International Code and Energy Efficiency Standards.

A founding member of the Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Professional Alliance — Tommy has served as a long-time dedicated Board Member for Florida-ACCPA/Florida chapter of ACCA.
